Victorian Lady with floral hairdressing, on a beautiful thick signet Solid 925 silver ring with deco style double chain / rope framing to the central hand carved shell jewel. A Classic of southern Italian jewelry, this is the real thing, realized by hand with the traditional shell over coral cameo technique. Bought from the heirs of a historical jewelry shop based in southern Italy that closed many years ago (in the 90s) it’s part of a large collection coming from the estate of this family of jewelers; these beautiful rings are still new, coming from dead stock as they were just kept in a safe through all these years.
