Grenson "Footmaster" khaki canvas boots with full leather lining and soles, handcrafted in UK 80s NOS sz 9/D

Grenson Footmaster; Grenson was famous for being the bootmaker to the Windsor family, but in addition to classic brogues in the pure British style, they were also renowned for making boots for Her Majesty’s army in World War II and for desert missions (these are indeed inspired by the model used by the British army on missions in Africa/the desert in the 1930s… check out the incredible history of the brand on their website). These are the 1930s Footmaster, cotton canvas boots in a khaki-sand color with a matching tan leather lining, and a hand-sewn and nailed leather and wood sole. Shoes of incredible quality, made by the direct and sole competitor to Church’s, and renowned as the shoemakers to the Windsor family. The boots are brand new from vintage deadstock, never worn and just displayed in store, then preserved in a box through the years. They are totally new, as the soles, lining, and overall condition easily show. There are slight stains here and there but nothing major, or really visible, or compromising the overall look of the item, which is absolutely stunning and high class. Retail on the Grenson website would be at least £650 for this kind of boot. These are collectible pieces, out of production anyway! Size is a 9-D UK (D is medium width) 43 EU - 10 US
