Primary color
Jean Lempereur woodline Aviator shaped sunglasses with light brown degrade lenses made in France in natural rosewood or black colour with grey fade lenses. New old stock hand made in France in the 1980s. Early wooden frames, rare and made to the highest quality standards in a multilayered wood with flexible spring brass hinges to make them fit perfectly. Nowadays is common, and some years ago even trendy wearing (and making) wooden shades, but back in time, making frames in wood was just prerogative of a few artisanal, high end luxury brands. While today they mostly use bamboo, at the time just rosewood, ebony, teak and bubinga were the woods of choice (and still are for serious wooden frames) for their lightness and strength.
