Music Hall 100% black silk velour evening dress, decó style hand embroidery, silver sequins, glass beads and pearls. Needs attention

Incredible tailor made flapper style dress fully hand embroidered with deco style abstract texture of silver sequins and stripes of small pearls and transparent glass beads; Made of two layers of translucent silk velour, with the outer one totally hand embroidered with the highest quality and precision. sadly, as it would be normal when this kind of delicate garments are used, it needs some restoring to the embroidery (I tried to show most of the parts that need restoring in the pictures, some lines have to be completed , there is a small tear on the lower front right, but hard to see while worn cause there is the other black layer underneath /luckily the materials are still popular nowadays, and it won’t be hard to find them.) We thought it was better to sell it as is, as the restoring would make it very expensive, but if you prefer to have ready to wear we can do the work for you, in case drop us a line and we can discuss the terms. this dress is dated between the 40s to the 60s: the lady who sold it to me dated it as so, and said it was her granny’s, and it was made to measure by her Taylor. measures length 100 cm around chest 94 cm hips 94 cm sleeve from center back 67 cm (3/4)
